We offer all types of roofing services. The photo gallery below shows 2 jobs. The first being re-roofing over a bay window and the second shows some cement pointing.

As you can see from the first few photos this bay roof had caused our clients many problems over the years. The photo clearly shows how previous tradesmen had attempted to stop the leaky bay window by applying flash band to the work out lead work.

Here at J & B Construction we understand that sometimes not everybody can go for the “rip it all off and replace with brand new” approach and sometimes temporary roofing solutions have to be put into place. However a roof that resembles years upon years of patch work will only every be 100% water tight if is stripped back to the woodwork and replaced with new appropriate material thus giving the job in question a guaranteed life time expectancy of the material used.

The second job shows cement pointing which not only seals two sides of a roof but also keeps the ridges in place in extreme weather conditions. When ridges get into such disrepair the only solution is to take off the ridges, re-bed them back on and point them back accordingly giving the two roof sides a good seal.
